FELINE PINE
Cats Against Clay-Illustration for New York Times Ads
Feline Pine is a small, all-natural brand that competes against category giants like Tidy Cat. In order to gain a competitive foothold for Feline Pine, a fictitious, grassroots movement called “Cats Against Clay” was created to raise awareness about the dangers of clay-based cat litters. The national campaign included
a wide array of media tactics including a microsite, social media, direct mail, viral videos, trade, and outdoor. This New York Times ad generated so much intrigue amongst passionate cat lovers; it
crashed the paper’s switchboard.

RAM REALTY
Design Center of the Carolinas-Illustration for new logo design
The Design Center of the Carolinas, located in South End Charlotte, NC is a focal point for the design industry in the two Carolinas. It combines an innovative mix of showrooms, studios and offices with resources and services catering to the greater design industry defined in its most comprehensive context. The center has also served as a catalyst for creation of the greater South End Design District which today houses over 100 design related businesses. In 2008, efforts for a rebranding of the neighborhood commensed. The new logo, inspired by the prominent watertower overlooking the neighborhood and the modern, yet nostalgic form elicits the historical, art deco feel reminiscent of art in the days when the building's original use in the textile manufacturing flourished. Bright, bold colors and sharp lines combine to create an iconic, legible illustration and memorable mark.

SIMPLE HOME SERVICES
Logo Icon
Simple Home Services is an independant, Charlotte-based service that provides a contractor to assist in basic home repair. Their previous mark, the abbreviation SHS in a square, was ambiguous, so a refresh was imperative to directly communicate their services. An icon of a contractor coupled with an easy-to-read font style communicates friendliness and professionalism.
